There’s something special about surprise proposals. No matter how many I’ve captured, each one always brings a unique mix of excitement, emotion, and just a bit of stress. S & B’s story is no different and it’s one I’m truly grateful to have been part of.
In the lead-up to the proposal, I worked closely with B to make sure every detail was in place. I stayed in touch with him, coordinating the perfect hiding spots, so that she wouldn’t suspect a thing. Surprise proposals, even with years of experience, are always a little nerve-wracking. The goal is always the same: to make sure everything goes smoothly and the moment stays a surprise, while being in just the right spot to capture it all.

S had a feeling something was up. She said the trip to Morocco, the hotel they’d booked, and all the little details made her wonder if something big was coming. She even did her nails, “just in case.” But she wasn’t completely sure. After all, they love traveling together, so it could have just been another trip. When the proposal finally came, her joy and the emotions she felt were exactly what I hoped to capture. She may have had an inkling, but the moment was still filled with surprise and happiness.
